SHORTLISTING – The University Screening Committee has selected the following firms, in no particular order, for further consideration in the qualifications-based selection process: (1) Alta Planning + Design, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA); (2) Fehr & Peers (Los Angeles, CA); and (3) KTUA (San Diego, CA).

Scope of Services: Qualifications submittals are hereby solicited by the University of California, Santa Barbara from qualified individuals and firms for the preparation of a Campus Master Circulation Plan. The University is preparing this Master Circulation Plan to help facilitate the implementation of the 2010 LRDP.

The University is seeking a consultant to assist in the preparation of a campus-wide Master Circulation Plan. This consultant would conduct user surveys, primarily of the bike path system, and may be assisted in broadening this data gathering by the campus’ Office of Institutional Research. The consultant would utilize information from recent counts of bicycles and vehicles to determine the optimal flow and location of parking for vehicles and bicycles.

The University has a considerable amount of information and knowledge about current counts of vehicles and bikes coming onto campus, as well as recent parking lot surveys and bike parking data and wishes the consultant to support the University in preparation of the plan by providing survey work, data analysis, visioning for planning and practical application, any applicable mapping or preparation of figures and options to be considered as new modalities and circumstances affect the viability of the Plan.

The final product will be a reproducible Campus Master Circulation Plan including maps and figures as applicable.

Estimated Cost: The estimated cost for the proposed services is approximately $150,000.

SOQ Deadline: SOQ packages must be returned to the University no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 30, 2019
