Description of Work: Provide and install eight (8) fume hoods in the Chemistry Building, 557. Include new controls on air valve actuators and interface with building controls. Miscellaneous modifications to ductwork, walls, etc. will be necessary depending on layout.

Estimated Construction Cost: $500,295

License Requirement(s): B- (General Building)

General Information: Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120).

No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a Bid for this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
