Description of Work: Perform lighting upgrade services on the University campus under a series of Job Orders, including electrical single trade work valued between $25,000 and $100,000 that is associated with the electrical lighting retrofit and control work program across the main campus.
License Requirement(s): C-10 (Electrical Contractor)
Estimated Construction Cost: The Job Order Contract awarded under this solicitation will have a maximum Job Order Contract amount of $750,000 for the initial one-year base term, with two separate $750,000 single-year options to extend the agreement. The annual Job Order Contract amounts are not cumulative, and individual Job Order Authorizations will range from $25,000 to $100,000.
Pre-Bid Conference: A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and mandatory Pre-Bid Job Walk will be conducted BOTH in person AND electronically via Zoom on July 10, 2020 beginning promptly at 1:30 PM. Participants shall meet either:

Meeting attendees may attend the pre-bid conference and job walk remotely via Zoom, if desired. The Zoom meeting will include a virtual job walk presented by the University staff. A subsequent, in-person job walk may be scheduled with the University Representative, upon request. Further details will be provided to contractors interested in attending the mandatory pre-bid conference via Zoom.

The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No contractor or subcontractor may bid the project or be listed on a bid for this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded any portion of this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
