Introduction: The University of California, Santa Barbara (“University”) requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) No. FM250208 from qualified professionals interested in providing detailed project assessment, full design services, preparation of bidding documents, and construction administration services for the Storke Tower Concrete Repair, Waterproofing, and Preventive Maintenance Consultant project.

Project Description: The scope of professional services will involve the preparation of a limited follow-up Assessment of current conditions and an architectural historian assessment Report that includes architectural and engineering design services for the Project including the preparation of construction documents, updated cost estimates and administrative support services during the project and the approval process. The scope of the professional services will be broken down into two separate phases:  Phase 1: This phase will involve the preparation of a limited follow-up Assessment of current conditions and an architectural historian assessment Report under the University’s standard Professional Services Agreement.  Phase 2: if awarded, will include architectural and engineering design services for the Project including the preparation of construction documents, updated cost estimates and administrative support services during the project and environmental approval process. This phase will also include bidding assistance and construction phase administrative services and as built documentation under the University’s standard Executive Design Professional Agreement.

 The projected construction budget: $3,000,000
